Delete Your HumanityU Account

You can permanently delete your HumanityU account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

  1. Open HumanityU and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile. If you want a copy first, use Download My Data.
  3. Tap Delete My Account, read the confirmation, and confirm when ready.

Wait for the deletion result. If the app reports that deletion or device cleanup could not finish, retry or contact support. Sign Out does not delete your account.

Option 2 — By email

Email support@humanityu.app with the subject Delete My Account from the email address on your account. We will permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account record, email, username/display name, profile and conservation region, your environmental measurements and journals, your action reports (including any notes and places you typed), and your community posts and comments.

What may be retained, and for how long

We may retain a limited record where the law requires it (for example, to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes), and anonymized, non-identifying error logs for up to 90 days. Retained data is not used to re-identify you.

Supabase, which runs our sign-in, keeps its own service logs for security. They may include the email address and IP address used to sign in, and are deleted after a limited period.
