How do I delete my account and all my data?

To permanently delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Open HumanityU and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out.
  3. Email atsanik.llc@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email address.
  4. We will permanently delete your account and all data within 30 days of receiving your request, as described in our Privacy Policy.

How do I export my environmental impact data?

Go to Profile → Export My Impact. This generates a plain-text impact summary with your self-reported measurements (gallons saved, CO₂ reduced, trees planted, streak days, points, and Civilization Score) that you can share via the iOS/Android Share sheet.

For a formatted PDF certificate, tap Profile → Download PDF Certificate (requires an internet connection). If the PDF can't be generated, you'll be offered the plain-text summary instead.

How do I change my notification settings?

Go to Profile → Notification Settings. You can individually toggle:

To fully disable notifications, use the All Notifications master switch or go to your device's system Settings → HumanityU → Notifications.

My data did not sync — what happened?

HumanityU includes an offline submission queue. If your device was offline when you submitted a calculator entry, it is automatically queued and retried when connectivity is restored.

You will see an amber Pending Sync banner on the Mission screen showing the number of queued items. Tap Sync Now to retry immediately, or wait for automatic retry when your connection restores.

If the banner persists after restoring connectivity, try closing and reopening the app. If the issue continues, contact support with your device model and iOS/Android version.

Why is the app requesting location permission?

HumanityU requests your location once to automatically set your Conservation Region, Country, and Continent — connecting you to regional leaderboards and local community posts.

Important: Only your country, continent, and conservation region are stored on our servers. Your precise GPS coordinates are never saved or transmitted.

You can deny the location permission and set your location manually via the dropdowns in the Profile tab at any time.
